Current and Future Consultation Events
At present we are in the statutory six week consultation period on the Draft Plan. This began on Monday 15th June and will run until 5.00pm on Monday 27th July 2015. The Draft Plan can be downloaded from the link on the home page of this site. Paper copies are available from Cuckney Village shop or from any member of the steering group. An Executive Summary will be delivered to every house in the Neighbourhood. We welcome any comments on any part of the document. This can be done via the questionnaire also on the home page of this site, or e-mail any member of the committee
Past Consultation Events
Seven events have been held to date, the details of which can be viewed in the following documents

This event took place in November 2013 at Lady Margaret Hall and we were able to discuss neighbourhood planning with 20 residents and get their views

This took palace in December 2013 in Cuckney Church, in tandem with The Christmas Tree Fair. Fifty-two People filled in Questionnaires as well as discussing their thoughts on a Neighbourhood Plan.

This took place on 19th of March 2014, in Cuckney village Hall, running alongside the Bassetlaw DC's feed-back session on it's Preferred Allocations Document. Forty-five villagers attended and were able to see and pass comment on a number of potential development sites spread throughout the Neighbourhood.

This event took place at Cuckney school in July 2014 and involved the children from the Neighbourhood villages who attend there. The planning group were keen to get the childrens' opinion about what is good and not so good about our area.

This was a Web-based survey, done in Sept 2014, aimed at getting the views of young adults (aged 12 to 23), on how they viewed various aspects of life in our neighbourhood.

This was an information sharing event held in Cuckney Church Dec 2014 about the work the group had done on Green Space Protection and footpath development
Held on the 25th of February 2015, forty members of the local community attended this 3 hour drop-in session to look at, and pass comment on: all the potential sites for development; the plans for designated Green Spaces, and the draft policies that will underpin any development programme.
