Festival of events
The Festival of events is open to families, friends and colleagues of residents and work colleagues in our four villages.
So please come along and support us wherever and when ever you can. As you can see from the programme, some events are ticketed.

Flower Festival in St Mary’s Church Cuckney
Free entry. Light refreshments. Wheelchair access and toilet facilities available
Guided Tours around the Church by members of the Battle of Hatfield Investigation Society at 11.30am and 2pm
Saturday 20th June 7.30pm to 11pm
Gala dinner at Lady Margaret Hall (decked out as a marquee). 5 course dinner.
Entertainment by the fabulous Detail Dance Company.
Dress code - Black tie or suit /cocktail dress

Welbeck Bowls club invite you to try your hand at Bowls. Please wear flat shoes! Open to all ages.

Open gardens in Cuckney Free entry
Take a stroll around the gardens of Meadowside, Rowan House and The Gables, then down to Poulterside and finish at Cuckney’s Community garden. Tea/ coffee in the Community garden provided by Cuckney Village Shop

Meet Philip at 6pm at Hatfield Farm, Norton, parking at the rear entrance off Carburton Road.

Archery for juniors (aged 8 to 16) at “Welbeck Abbey Bottoms”.
A great opportunity to try out this ancient skill. No ticket required.

No ticket required. Car parking is a problem, so if you can leave your car at home please do so. Wheelchair access and toilets available.
Please note: this is the school’s annual fund raising event.

Join Dave on his Bee Day at The Old Bakehouse, Bakers Lane, Cuckney.
View many aspects of beekeeping, including equipment, clothing and seeing bees at work.
There will be samples of honey and mead to taste. No ticket required

Tractor rides through Welbeck Park. Leaves Lady Margaret Hall at 2pm

Members of the Norton Cuckney History Society are putting on a display of photos and memorabilia of our neighbourhood. Bring along your own photos of local interest to share.
A special afternoon tea will be served at 3pm.

Anyone requiring transport to and from the event, please mention this when you buy your ticket and we will do our best to arrange transport for you

Welbeck Sailing Club invites you to their club at Welbeck Lake. So why not take a picnic and enjoy this fabulous opportunity to view the wonderful scenery. The clubhouse will provide hot drinks.

Cars to meet at 6pm prompt at the Gate (past Lady Margaret Crescent in Norton) to be escorted to the Club.

Guided tour of Welbeck Abbey Brewery by Claire Monk
Here’s a great opportunity to see how our local brews are made and taste them, too! A buffet of home-made quiches, potato wedges and a range of salads will be provided by the School of Artisan Food.
Next to the Brewery are two new companies that will be open for you to view. They are the Sundlaug Coffee Company and Naked Marshmellows
